The mission of Silver Harbour Seniors' Activity Centre is to inspire and enhance the physical and mental well-being of adults 55 plus. We have over 70 different programs and activities designed to keep you active, stay mentally fit, develop your creativity and make new friends. We also offer a number of helpful services including meals and refreshments, legal advice, friendly visiting and more. And we organize special events including dinner dances, special teas, bus trips, informative lectures, and practical workshops. A few programs are free and open to the public, but most require an annual membership (just $25) and charge a small seasonal or drop-in fee. All our activities are supported by volunteers, to the tune of 50,000 hours a year, and we receive core funding from the City and District of North Vancouver as well as generous donations from foundations, service clubs, community groups, businesses and individuals.
